In other parts of Europe, the annual inflation rate in Moldova rose to 6.8% in April.

Producer prices in Norway climbed by 22.7% Y/Y in April.

Norway’s annual inflation rate eased to 3.4% in April.

Retail sales in the Czech Republic rose by 4.9% Y/Y in March.

The pan-European Stoxx 600 [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/STOXX] (STOXX) [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/STOXX] traded 0.04% lower to 612, starting the week on a cautious note as tensions in the Middle East persisted. U.S. and Iran continued to struggle toward a diplomatic resolution to the 10-week conflict. European natural gas futures climbed toward €45 per MWh on Monday, extending gains from the previous session. In the bond market, the yield on the US 10-year Treasury was up 2 basis points to 4.39%.

UK's 10-year yield was up 5 basis points to 4.97%, heightened inflation concerns, and reinforced expectations of further Bank of England rate hikes.

Germany's 10-year yield was up 2 basis points to 3.02%.
