Intrepid Potash expands share repurchase authorization to $50M

* Intrepid Potash (IPI [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/IPI]) said [https://seekingalpha.com/pr/20539677-intrepid-potash-announces-expansion-of-common-stock-repurchase-plan] on Wednesday its board increased the authorization under the company's existing share repurchase program to $50M from $35M, with about $13M remaining under the prior authorization.
* The company said it may repurchase shares from time to time in open-market or privately negotiated transactions and is also evaluating organic growth, strategic acquisition opportunities, and additional capital return initiatives.
