High Dividend Stocks — Screened Across the Entire US Market, Daily

Data as of 1 August 2026

This list is not hand-picked. It is the result of screening all 6,143 US common stocks against the same criteria every day; 124 pass.

Why the highest-yielding stocks on the market are not in this table

413 US stocks currently show a dividend yield above 5%. 289 of them are excluded here because they did not pay a dividend in each of the last 3 years, or their financial quality falls below the threshold. Several of the very highest yields on the market come from one-off special dividends — the prior years paid nothing. Sorting purely by yield pushes exactly those to the top, which is the classic dividend trap: the headline number implies an income stream that does not exist.

Screening criteria

  1. Current dividend yield of 5% or above
  2. A dividend paid in each of 3 consecutive years — this removes one-off special payouts
  3. AI Quality Score of 60 or above out of 100 — profitability, growth, leverage and earnings consistency
  4. Profitable (positive P/E) — a loss-making company cannot sustain a payout
  5. US common stock only; DRs, ETFs, funds, bonds and preferred shares are excluded

Want to screen on your own criteria?

This page uses one fixed set of criteria so the comparison stays honest. To set your own — a different minimum yield, specific sectors, or other quality angles such as iGrowth and iTurnaround — use the Opportunity screener.

Dividend investing FAQ

What counts as a high dividend yield?

The Thai market averages roughly 3-3.5% a year, so anything above 5% is meaningfully above market. But unusually high figures often come from a share price that has fallen sharply, or from a one-off special dividend, and do not indicate a repeatable income stream.

What is a dividend trap?

A stock showing a high yield because of a single payout, or because the price has collapsed, while the underlying ability to pay has actually weakened. The most direct check is the payment history over several years, together with whether earnings genuinely cover the payout.

How often is this table updated?

The underlying data is reprocessed daily, so this page reflects the latest prices and financial statements rather than a list written once and left to age.

How are Thai dividends taxed?

Dividends from Thai stocks carry a 10% withholding tax. Investors may either treat that as final or include the dividend in their personal income tax return to claim the dividend tax credit, which can produce a refund at lower income brackets. Consult a tax professional for your own situation.

What does the XD date mean?

XD (Excluding Dividend) marks the date from which a buyer no longer receives the declared dividend. To receive it you must hold the shares before that date, and the share price typically adjusts down by roughly the dividend amount on the day.
