Snowflake (SNOW [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/SNOW]) surged 38% in premarket trading Thursday after the cloud data company delivered stronger-than-expected fiscal first-quarter 2027 results and announced a major long-term AI infrastructure deal with Amazon Web Services (AMZN [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/AMZN]).

The rally comes despite Snowflake shares remaining down roughly 20% year to date entering the session, making the sharp rebound particularly notable for ETFs with sizable exposure to the stock.

Revenue rose 33% year over year to $1.39B, topping analyst estimates of $1.32B, while adjusted earnings per share came in at $0.39, ahead of the $0.32 consensus estimate.

Snowflake also disclosed a five-year agreement with Amazon Web Services to spend $6B on Graviton compute and AI infrastructure, underscoring growing enterprise demand for data analytics and AI workloads.
