Wall Street ended higher on Friday, lifted by Amazon (AMZN [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/AMZN])—whose shares climbed on strong quarterly results—as well as semiconductors and overall technology recovering.

The benchmark S&P 500 (SP500 [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/SP500#source=section%3Amain_content%7Cbutton%3Abody_link%7Cfirst_level_url%3Anews]) ended +0.7%, while the heavy-tech Nasdaq Composite (COMP:IND [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/COMP:IND]) closed +1%, and the blue-chip Dow (DJI [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/DJI]) finished +0.5%.

Over in the bond market, yields were also higher. The 10-year Treasury yield (US10Y [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/US10Y#hasComeFromMpArticle=false#source=section%3Amain_content%7Cbutton%3Abody_link%7Cfirst_level_url%3Anews]) rose 4 basis points to 4.72%, while the 2-year Treasury yield (US2Y [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/US2Y#hasComeFromMpArticle=false#source=section%3Amain_content%7Cbutton%3Abody_link%7Cfirst_level_url%3Anews]) was 2 basis points higher at 4.28%.

Now, here are three things investors will focus on Monday:

* Palantir Technologies (PLTR [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/PLTR]) is set to report earnings on Monday. The intelligence software giant has had 20 upward EPS revisions in the past 90 days and is expected to post a revenue of $1.81B with EPS normalized of $0.35. The U.S. government continues to be a considerable part of its operations, and expansion across multiple U.S. military branches is expected.
* Other notable companies reporting earnings on Monday include Mitsubishi UFJ Financial (MUFG [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/MUFG]), Vertex Pharmaceuticals (VRTX [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/VRTX]), Diamondback Energy (FANG [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/FANG]), and Marriott International (MAR [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/MAR]), among others.
* On the economic calendar, investors will receive the S&P final U.S. manufacturing PMI, as well as the ISM manufacturing report. The June ISM Manufacturing PMI showed that economic activity in the manufacturing sector fell more than expected.
