VivoPower International PLC (NASDAQ:VVPR, FRA:51J), a B Corp-certified developer and owner of powered land and data center infrastructure for AI compute applications, said on Tuesday it will change its name to VivoPower PLC and begin trading under the new ticker “VIVO” on March 16, 2026, before the open of trading on the Nasdaq stock market.
The moves reflect the company’s focus on building, owning, and leasing powered land and data center infrastructure, a critical component in the rapidly growing AI sector.
The name change does not affect shareholder rights, and no action is required by current investors, the company said.
VivoPower provides land, power, and real estate infrastructure while leaving technology and operations to tenants. Its model focuses on securing scarce inputs in the data center value chain and monetizing them through long-term, bankable leases with sovereign nations, hyperscale cloud operators, neocloud players, and other tenants.
The company said the rebranding aligns its corporate identity with its core business strategy of supporting AI compute growth through infrastructure ownership and leasing.
