What Is The Market Telling Us

Everforth's shares are very volatile and have had 29 moves greater than 5% over the last year. But moves this big are rare even for Everforth and indicate this news significantly impacted the market's perception of the business.

The previous big move we wrote about was 8 days ago when the stock gained 14.6% on the news that Truist Securities upgraded the stock to 'Buy' from 'Hold' and raised its price target. The price target was increased to $36 from $33.

The upgrade was driven by expectations for growth in the company's commercial consulting services during the second and third quarters. Reflecting this positive outlook, Truist also raised its second-quarter revenue estimate for Everforth to $989 million from $976 million and increased its earnings per share estimate to $0.80 from $0.77.

Everforth is down 40.8% since the beginning of the year, and at $27.70 per share, it is trading 48.9% below its 52-week high of $54.25 from August 2025. Investors who bought $1,000 worth of Everforth's shares 5 years ago would now be looking at only $273.29.
