Netherlands stocks lower at close of trade; AEX down 0.38%

Investing.com – Netherlands stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Technology, Healthcare and Consumer Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Amsterdam, the AEX lost 0.38%.
The best performers of the session on the AEX were ArcelorMittal SA (AS:MT), which rose 4.36% or 1.22 points to trade at 29.20 at the close. Meanwhile, BE Semiconductor Industries NV (AS:BESI) added 1.72% or 2.20 points to end at 130.15 and Aegon Ltd (AS:AEGN) was up 0.75% or 0.05 points to 6.18 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were ASML Holding NV (AS:ASML), which fell 1.48% or 9.40 points to trade at 624.10 at the close. Randstad NV (AS:RAND) declined 1.26% or 0.54 points to end at 42.16 and Wolters Kluwer (AS:WLSNc) was down 1.17% or 1.65 points to 138.80.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Amsterdam Stock Exchange by 53 to 43 and 11 ended unchanged.
The AEX Volatility, which measures the implied volatility of AEX options, was unchanged 0.00% to 21.09.
Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.39% or 0.26 to $65.79 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.46% or 0.32 to hit $68.96 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 1.57% or 52.67 to trade at $3,410.97 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.63% to 1.17, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.00% to 0.87.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.67% at 97.54.
