Stock futures pointed lower on Thursday, putting Wall Street on track to end the holiday-shortened week on a softer note ahead of America's 250th Independence Day. Investor sentiment remained cautious ahead of the closely watched June jobs report and ongoing U.S.-Iran diplomatic talks in Doha.
Here are some of Thursday's biggest stock movers:
BIGGEST STOCK GAINERS
* NATIONAL BEVERAGE (FIZZ [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/FIZZ]) +6% - Shares gained after the maker of LaCroix declared a special cash dividend of $3.25 per share following FY2026 results. The company reported FY2026 net sales of $1.2B, gross profit totaled $437M with a 37% margin, EPS came in at $1.96, and cash increased by $156M to $350M. Management highlighted strong momentum from innovation, with PineApple CocoNut expanding distribution and Strawberry Peach becoming one of its fastest-selling flavors. The company also cited improving market conditions, including lower commodity costs and stronger consumer spending, expressing confidence in future growth and shareholder returns.
BIGGEST STOCK LOSERS
* CAN-FITE BIOPHARMA (CANF [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/CANF]) -12% - Shares fell despite the company reporting positive Phase 2a data for Namodenoson in advanced pancreatic cancer. The trial met its primary safety endpoint and showed durable survival in heavily pretreated patients, including a median overall survival of more than five months in evaluable third-line patients, while one second-line patient remains alive more than 18 months after starting treatment. Encouraged by the results and supportive preclinical data, the company plans to advance Namodenoson into a Phase 2b trial in combination with chemotherapy.
* EMBRAER (EMBJ [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/EMBJ]) -5% - Shares slipped after the aircraft maker completed the acquisition of Safran Cabin's remaining 50% stake in the EZ Air Interior joint venture, giving Embraer full ownership of the Mexico-based cabin interiors operation. The facility produces components for the E-Jet family, including luggage bins, galleys, lavatories, and floor panels. Embraer is also integrating selected Safran Cabin operations in Brazil tied to Embraer programs, while Safran will retain its non-Embraer engineering and cabin services businesses. Financial terms were not disclosed.
